OCT: 2014

Diving expedition to Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon. Located in the Pacific Ocean and part of the Federated States of Micronesia, Truk is a collection of tropical islands surrounded by a protective reef that now form a volcanic atoll. In WWII Truk was the main Japanese naval base in the Pacific from which the attack on the US military base at Pearl Harbour was launched.

High Profile Diving Educator Joins RAID.

RAID UK along with RAID International is excited and very proud to announce one of the most respected UK diving educators has joined the RAID Team. We welcome Paul Haynes as RAID Technical Instructor Trainer Examiner.

AUG: 2014

Paul Haynes is confirmed as a key note guest speaker at the international diving conference Oztek, Sydney in March 2015.

A week of extensive shipwreck penetration dives in Scapa Flow whilst undertaking an Instructor cross-over onto the ISC Pathfinder Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR).

CCR mixed gas tuition completed for a trainee.

Mixed gas CCR dive on the British WWI submarine K4, which lies on an even keel complete on the sea-bed in the Firth of Forth, Scotland at a depth of 57m.

JUN: 2014

A series of deep mixed gas rebreather shipwreck survey dives undertaken to a maximum depth of 75m.

Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) mixed gas tuition completed for a trainee.

Award of RYA VHF radio Short Range Certificate Assessor Award of RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

RYA Powerboat Level 2 training course completed for 3 trainees.

APR: 2014

Five days wreck diving in Scapa Flow aboard MV Karin test diving the SF2 electronic Closed Circuit Rebreather (eCCR)

Two-week contract completed on behalf of a prestigious Middle East client comprising a detailed review of Emergency and Crisis Management documentation and capability.

Chartwork and Position Fixing course completed for two trainees.

APD Evolution Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) BSAC training course conducted at Lochaline Dive Centre, Sound of Mull, Scotland (www.lochalinedivecentre.co.uk).

NOV: 2013

Haynes Marine Ltd attends a Dynamic Navigation Manager and Whole Body Vibration Manager seminar, Gothenburg, Sweden.


Expedition to Orkney to dive the German High Seas Fleet at Scapa Flow.  Exploratory penetration into the Battleship Kronprinz Wilhelm to reconnoitre possible access routes into the aft gun turret barbets and gun rooms.
